Rooibos tea (red tea) is acquired from the Aspalathus linearis bush plant found in South Africa. It contain only small amount of tannin and no caffeine, effectively help in relieve stress and also help increase PH level towards alkaline in body.
Rooibos tea is rich in many minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium, copper, manganese, zinc, magnesium, and alpha hydroxy acid. It also contains numerous of polyphenols which can act as antioxidants which promotes a lot health benefits. 6 cups (200-250ml) of rooibos tea on a daily basis is considered to be the moderate amount as suggested by many research studies.
Rooibos tea have formulated with little add-on ingredients, which is Green tea and Camellia Sinensis. Little amount of green tea make our taste better. Green tea is about 30% polyphenols by weight, which includes large amounts of catechin (EGCG-Epigallocatechin Gallate).
